Bio

Writer, Director, Producer and Photographer with a broad experience in creating film projects.

He studied a BA in Graphic Design at Universidad Autonoma Metropolitana in Mexico City and a Master’s in Film & Video at The Antrophology Film Center in Santa Fe, New Mexico and The American Univeristy in Washington DC.

He has received grants and scholarships from Fulbrigt, FONCA and the Rockefeller Foundation among others.

In the beggining of his carrear as a director, he produced documentaries on social, cultural and ethnic issues. A radical turnaround took him to shoot tv commercials and to found his own company: Neural Films.

He has directed hundreds of TV spots for brands like Toyota, Fiat, Nissan, Telcel, Nissan, Banorte, Banamex, Kraft, Kellog’s, Nokia, Pepsico, etc.

He works as advertisement director for Catatonia in Mexico City and he is currently writing and developing two feature film projects: Tzu Kgosni / Flying Boy and Violent Butterflies.

Beside his carreer as film director, he shoots stills as a hobby.
